ake -odoriko-
Following the 2024 photo exhibition "ake -odoriko-," we are pleased to present "ake -odoriko- Encore" in 2025.
This new exhibition adds several new photographs from the Atami Ginza Gekijo and Masagoza to the original collection, which featured moments of the dancer, ake, performing at the A-Kyu Kokura Gekijo, Shibuya Dotonbori Gekijo, and Warabi Mini Gekijo.
I met and instantly connected with ake in the city of Kokura. This 32-page photo book is a compilation of selected images from my time documenting her performances on stage.
The striptease industry is currently in decline. I would be delighted if these photographs could convey, even just a little, the allure of this world and the captivating dancers who perform within it.
